Community is Now Open for Every Visitors!
To be honest, I have been fed up with having to post shitty articles (things like “20 Best Sushi Shops in Tokyo”) merely aiming to allure viewers through Google SEO recently and wanted to provide more valuable information in a different form. This led to the implementation of a new function.
In Community, the new function, I want to frequently update fresh information in addition to the popular Q&A, such as “the restaurant I went the other day was really great!” and “these restaurants are increasingly popular among Tokyoite now.”
I am dead serious about becoming the world’s most reliable source of information on restaurants in Japan. Because Community is designed for all users, including you, to post freely, we can enjoy more active interactions♪ I want to create a place together with you where participation in the forum guarantees successful restaurant choice.
It must be also exciting to, in addition to restaurants and food, exchange communication on hotels, ryokans, hot springs, and all other aspects of travel in Japan.
As the site operator, I know the excitement of developing the virtual connection forming on this TokyoTableTrip into real experiences and hope you realize it as well (for example, having dinner together in a travel destination).
Do please enjoy the function!
(I would like to gradually transfer existing Q&A to Community.)

I have a suggest as well. Can we have an add to my table tab. So we can save the info that’s been shared. Easier to find for the future

Is it just me or does "Read More" comments not work on an iPhone?

I like this new direction! The message board style interaction with different topics for discussion and encouraging others to share, is definitely more fun and easier to view to get updated information and responses. Not just in Japan, but overseas there are also too many low quality food journalism/articles of top 10 or 50 best this or that, designed as clickbait, and definitely not helpful information.

Saito-san, just a suggestion. Would it be more beneficial to just close down the q and a? So everyone will be using the community instead?

Saito san, if I may make a suggestion - did you consider requiring login for the community section? I know right now it is really convenient to post anonymously but when it comes to sharing info it's hard to know whether one can relate to another "guest"'s tasting buds.
